Let's Go New Material

Doug took some photos of us trying to, as Craig so bluntly puts it, "find new ways to sing Peter so that it sounds like a new hit song".

Anyway, if all goes according to plan, by the time we hit Japan in November we'll have a nice new CD for everyone to enjoy.

Is it just me or does the crowd look completely uninterested?

Getting Lucky in Dube

So last Sunday we played our first ever gig in Soweto. The dudes at Streetpop invited us to their gig at Dube Bowling Club. I'll be honest, it started out pretty hectic and gangsta but two songs in and even the most gangster (adjective) of gangsters (noun) was prancing around kissing his homeboys on the cheek:)

Streetpop, thanks so much for a great gig. We'll definitely be back!

The Hottest Box

So on the 27th of January we played our first gig of 2010 at the brilliant new live music venue in Pretoria - Hotbox Studios. Angie was there with her sneaky little camera and took some sneaky little snaps, click on the images above to see them bigger...

Hey dudes and dudettes, we did a pretty sweet show in Cape Town last weekend at The Assembly. Thanks to all you guys that came out to jive, it made for an excellent last gig of the year.

Remixes! Crazy Rebel by The Sound

So another Tuckshop remix found its merry way into our inbox this morning. And low and behold, it might just be one of the best we've had yet. The Sound is from Cape Town, and have done a bunch of awesome remixes for some great local bands like kidofdoom, Fokofpolisiekar and aKing.

We're all suckers for electro remixes, and this is proper dancefloor thumper. Make sure you check out The Sound's other mixes at the MySpace.
